Our Advanced Renewal Peel (ARP) is a high-intensity, three-step system designed to deliver exceptional skin transformation. Each step utilises potent active ingredients to revitalise your skin. This treatment is not for new clients; a full barrier assessment is required prior to treatment.

Step One:
High-strength glycolic and lactic acid are applied to the skin.

Step Two:
A combination of salicylic acid, mandelic acid, and retinol is applied. Clients leave with this peel on and remove it at home after six hours.

Step Three:
An overnight take-home peel is used after day five for up to 30 days.

Consultation

Prior to any excel V+ laser treatment, it is mandatory for patients to have an in-depth consultation with one of our experienced therapists or nurses. Depending on your specific skin conditions, you may be required to prepare your skin with specific barrier repair homecare before the treatment commences.

It is also important to note that Dr Teixeira requires a skincare routine for all Unveil Aesthetics’ patients. A commitment to regular care of the skin is paramount for maintaining skin health, improving overall skin condition, and enhancing barrier repair. Sensation Experience During ARP
The initial peel may cause intense warmth, itching, and stinging, which subside after removal. The second step is milder, with a slight warmth that diminishes. The at-home peel typically causes very mild to no sensations. These carefully managed sensations are part of the transformative journey toward achieving healthier, more radiant skin.

Downtime and Aftercare
Post-treatment care is crucial for optimal results. Expect skin dryness, peeling, or flaking. These symptoms are not essential indicators of a positive outcome, and their absence does not imply ineffective treatment. Avoid events within two weeks post-treatment and limit sun exposure during healing. You must avoid sun exposure during the entire healing process, so we recommend you head straight home post-peel. Importance of Sun Protection During and After Treatment
Using a high-factor sun protection cream is indispensable during and after treatment. We strongly recommend using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or 50 to prevent further skin damage and protect the skin while it heals. Consistent application of sunscreen helps maintain the results achieved through the peel treatment, regardless of weather conditions.

Number of Treatments and Timeline for Results
Noticeable improvements in skin texture and brightness occur after the first session. For optimal results, a series of three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended. Skin may continue to improve for up to six months post-treatment due to ongoing collagen production and cellular turnover.
